Ben Mounsey

Form Fifty Five recently blogged about the work of illustrator and animator Ben Mounsey. I wanted to also share his work on the basis that it made me smile.

Flying the flag for Britain, his client list includes the likes of GQ, Cartoon Network, Howies, Wired Magazine, Bacardi, and ITV.

Ben I solute you!

Sony – Xperia Unleashed

Whilst walking through London last week, I came across this rather cleverly applied Graffiti. Created by ‘washing’ the stencil graphics away from the pavement, the artist leaves a temporary composition behind. The more people see it, the quicker it disappears. I also liked the contradiction and anti rebel nature. On further inspection, I found out that the graphic was actually a viral campaign by Sony.

Agostino Iacurci

Multitalented artist Agostino Iacurci
lives and works in Rome where he creates a wonderfully varied portfolio of illustration, murals, printmaking and scenography.

As a commercial illustrator Iacurci collaborates with local and international publishers, advertising agencies, companies, magazines and animation studios. My particular favourites however are his murals.

Freshly Pressed

I wanted to just take a moment to say thank you to those who nominated for me to be Freshly Pressed. I’ve been amazed to have so many followers over such a short period of time blogging. I never expected to have such a following. My blog was only really intended for me to store artists I found for later viewing. I really can’t thank you all enough for taking the time to read my posts.

Charles Santoso

Concept artist and illustrator Charles Santoso currently lives in Sydney, Australia.

I love his adorable characters which have a dream like fantasy quality. Being a big Peanuts fan, his interpretation of Lucy and Charlie Brown are a particular favourite.

Enjoy.

Caleb Heisey

I wanted to quickly share the work of Caleb Heisey, an incredibly talented designer working in Philadelphia. I particularly wanted to share his work for Scandinavian Distillers, Folksaga. The use of illustrations make this packaging truly enchanting, with a touch of mythical story telling to enhance the brand and product.

Found in Mom’s Basement

I wanted to quickly share a blog I stumbled across this morning called Found in Mom’s Basement. Previewing a fun collection of Vintage advertising, it’s a nostalgic blast from the past. ImageImageImageImageImage
