Born and raised in China, Hong Chun Zhang grew up in an academic environment. At 15, she went on to win a National Competition to attend the high school attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing where she begun professional art training. She has since developed a developed a solid foundation in painting, but the content was restricted whilst she continued to work I’m China. As a result in 1996, Hong Chun Zhang moved to America to expand her expertise. She now continues to exhibit work nationally and internationally.
